Hi,

I wonder if you could measure minimum distance between two assemblies?Or component of one and assembly?
Thanks

The answer is yes you can by using clearance analysis. Go into the dialog via The analysis menu and define two lists by selecting each assembly to populate list1 and list2. In doing that all the components of each assembly get added to the lists, so if you see some members that obviously don't interfere you are then able to eliminate them from the analysis by editing the lists. Anyway when you then run the clearance checks the components within the different assemblies that meet the interference criteria will be highlighted and internal interferences with the assemblies will be ignored.

It works quite well.

Best regards

Hudson
