Part Families for structural shapes

I have a master part file I created with a sketch of an wide flange I beam.
A spread sheet was then created using the expressions in the sketch.
The files were created in Teamcenter.
Upon opening the sketch of any of the newly created extrusion, the sketch dimensions show the correct values but the model is built to the original dimensions.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Without the Part file it's impossible to know what's happening.
