NX 8.5.3.3

Okay so I have a Part Family in Teamcenter. When I look at the family member in Teamcenter that I want it has a link to the correct Part Family Master. However, when I try to update the Member in the Part Family Master it says that this isn't a part of a part family. When I go into the member and click on Part Families it says the Part Family Template is %UL:v1.0=SEN5cKf4QWzYD. The image is attached of that message.

Any ideas?

Sorry a little more information.

When I exported the named reference of the family member out of Teamcenter and opened the file in Native NX, it gave me the error above. However when I go into family member in Teamcenter NX, it isn't part of any part family...

More information...

It does seem like the part family member is part of the crazy Part Family Master as posted above. However it says The Family has been deleted or replaced. So it acts like it has no Part Family...

If you , after you get that error message read the last lines of the Help - Nx logfile, you can hopefully read the "readable" item name.
One can screw up partfamilies bigtime in NX+TC...

Yeah, we are migrating stuff from Pro-E to NX and they had some messed up part families in Pro-E. I'm not sure how these got messed up, but we were able to delete the datasets in Teamcenter (I didn't have permission) So an admin deleted them and recreated them. I don't remember if I looked at the log file or not, luckily due to the migration no assemblies are in Teamcenter yet, so it was an unused part.

Probably a member created in another part (like a typo). Best you can do is a save-as of the template to a new revision an recreate the members.

Best regards,

Michaël.
