If you do an import from one part to another, the parameters get this annoying " ' " symbol added to it. Like p1 becomes p1'1, furthermore after another import from that part into another, in the new part it gets p1'1'1, and so on and so on.

Is there some setting i could change to turn this of or is there a solution for this?

Thanks in advance.

It is not 'messed up', it actually ensures that you do not overwrite existing expressions.

Have a look at this thread: thread561-239964

Attached to one of John's posts is a grip program that removes the ' marks.

It is as cowski says that unless you really care about renaming your expressions the idea that they should be particularly well organised seems redundant anyway. The reasoning is correct in that it is designed merely to avoid the possibility of double ups, and even though the grip program is capable of tidying up you can be assured that the behaviour in normal and most users don't particularly let it worry them.
