If I have two parts in an assembly and there exists some interference between these parts, then the assembly drawing often does not display the properly. This is not a surprise to me as it also occurred in ProE and I expect many more CAD pakages.

The simple answer is to eliminate the interference. I am wonder if in situations where I prefer not to modify the component parts, is there a way to fix the drawing view?

I am using 7.5.2.5 NATIVE on Dell with windows XP OS

In the view preferences, you can try the 'interfering solids' option. If that doesn't give you the results you desire you can use 'view dependent edit' to add/remove geometry to/from the view.
