Part list order chaning when I change the description

Whenever I have to add something to the description in my parts list, the order of the components change. I was wondering how I prevent this, I would prefer that item 1 will always be item 1.

Select the row, right click and select 'lock row'.

It depends on how you sort the parts list, and if you allow "sort on update" or not. Then you can also as cowski says lock individual rows.
NX 7.5 : RMB the partslist - Style, in the bottom there is an option "Sort on Update".

And:
RMB the parts list - Sort, here you can set which column that should be primary /secondary etc and if that column should be used or not etc.

I looked more into it and tried these things and they don't seem to work.

I tried lock row, but if I manually change the description, the row gets a line though it and a new row is added on top.

When clicked or clicked off sort on update , the row that I changed still went to the top of the table.

I also unselected any of the checkmarks for sort, and it didn't work.

I am making manual edits to the description and what ever changes automatically gets put on top. It's nice feature, but I can't use it if it does this.

rmc on your parts list -> sort -> uncheck everything
