Thought I would just give Part Module a try as it could be useful for designing complex mouldings and even fabrications where work is distributed amongst several designers.
I think Ive run into quite a big issue when working with Teamcenter intergation, in that when creating Linked Part Module Files, after assigning the part number, the created item is niether displyed nor saved back to the database (Teamcenter).
It appears its up the the user to create the linked parts module files, then display and save each work linked part, then save the main part. However if you create the linked part file, save your main part and close down or crash without saving the linked parts, all your features in the main part will have been removed with no way of retrieving them from the linked part filse which werent saved back to Teamcenter.
You wouldnt have this problem in Native NX as the linked part file would be saved as soon as you create it.
Any advice?
