I would like further clarification about how PEStructural used both Roark's Table 35 case 19b and AWWA. Did you use AWWA equation 3.33 and set the variable h equal to the variable l in Roark's equation case 19b? I have a similar condition where a 50 diameter tank will be buried up to 9 feet into the ground. The total shell height is 14'. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
