I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good text that covers the topic of selecting particle sizes in the engineering of ceramic bodies.

I am studying thixotopic casting of a ceramic slurry and have read extensively that particle size distribution has a profound effect on the drying and final strength of the ceramic body, but I have not found a text that covers the details of that.

The ceramic slurry consists of clay particles, sub 325 mesh fillers, and graded minerals.

thanks!

Elliot
