Dear Mates,

I have a BD-34 Jeffrey Hammer Mill with stainless steel internals (34"x36", 150HP, 1800 RPM) that we use as a crumb shredder for crude rubber.

Two days ago a metal rod bar accidentally felt inside it and broke all the fixed hammers (we call it "fixed" as an oposite of the other type "swing"). The manufacutrer told me that he will be able to supply the new parts only 19 weeks from now, but I can not wait until then (my production has been interrupted since the accidente and it strongly depends on this equipament, not to mention that I am far behind my production schedule.

Does anybody knows where/how I could find second hand/used parts of this mill (20 pieces of #325.332 Jeffrey Hammers) for immediately delivery?

As a desperate act, could I use a simple 410 laminated stainless steel machined bar instead, or can this be dangerous to my equipment?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

LCMS.
