Pasting an Excel table in Drafsight

It is useful for me to paste an Excel table on a DraftSight Drawing.
I have a lot of trouble to do this.
I select and copy the cells in Excel and then just Paste in DraftSight.
Everytime I see an error in Excel indicating that it is an invalid format or something similar.
When I accept the error and come back to DrafSight, sometimes it will finally work and sometimes it will not do anything.
I do not know what I'm doig wrong.
Any suggestions?
