.pat files

We have a program called PatternSmith that we use to cut out pattern in cloth. I was wondering if there was any way to import a .pat file for use as a .dxf. The trouble is, I can import a dxf from AutoCAD to PatternSmith, but I cant import a .pat from PatternSmith to AutoCAD. Any suggestions?

You can not import a .pat file but you can Export a .dxf file from PatternSmith.
