As a USA manufacturer we have a vessel that is going to Alberta that is registered under a generic design. We placed a nozzle at an incorrect orientation. Our AI has approved the patching of the hole and placing the nozzle in the correct location. Should an Alberta SCO have an issue with this patch?

If the patch is documented in an NCR, there shouldn`t be any problem.

Marty007 you are correct. I posted here because ABSA generally takes weeks to respond but they responded very quickly. They stated as long as it is approved by your AI and you conduct whatever RT you are claiming on the weld of the patch it is okay.
