Pattern features on a spiral surface

Checked the archive, did not see an answer to my problem...

I created a sketch of a 2D spiral curve, then Extrude Surface. This creates a spiral surface.

Next, I created another 2D sketch, lines and curves, tangent to the spiral surface.
Then using Wrap, I can place the sketch on the surface, creating lines and curves that match the surface contour.
Then I can do Linear Pattern to pattern my feature down the axial direction of the surface.

However, what I want to do next, is to pattern my feature along the spiral direction of the surface, either out (increasing radius) or in (decreasing radius).

I tried both Sketch Driven Pattern and Curve Driven Pattern, trying to get the sketch to pattern along the surface, but no luck.
Suggestions?

I was able to use Curve driven pattern to pattern on a spiral... maybe its hte feature you are trying to use or the fact your surface is a surface and needs to be a solid. You can always delete the faces to make it a surface again or use the offset surface tool at 0 and delete the body.

See attached...
