Hey all,

I am using NX6, I have made a format template with automatic attributes, part names, sheet numbers, units, etc. I want to use the format as a pattern. All the part attributes show up just fine once the pattern is retrived into the drawing. But all the sheet attributes from this list dont show up.

<W@$SH_SHEET_NUMBER>
<W@$SH_NUMBER_OF_SHEETS>
<W@$SH_SHEET_SCALE_NUMERATOR>
<W@$SH_SHEET_SCALE_DENOMINATOR>
<W@$SH_SHEET_SIZE>
<W@$SH_SHEET_UNITS>
<W@$SH_SHEET_PROJECTION_ANGLE>
<W@$SH_MASTER_PART_NAME>
<W@$SH_PART_NAME>

The only attribute that shows up from the 'sheet attributes' is 'the number of sheets' (<W@$SH_NUMBER_OF_SHEETS>)

Any ideas what im doing wrong? Its something to do with the pattern - when I import the format template as a part all the attributes work just fine.

HELP PLEASE

Russkiman,

Are you using Master Model for your drawings?

Hmmm,

just tested them out and they work fine.

Do you add them in your drawing sheet, or are you setting up a Template and add these nominators in your "modeling" view?

I am adding them to the drawing sheet. it seems that when the boarder is saved as a pattern for some reason those attributes do not work??

Talked to siemens apparently it's a known issue. they are working on a fix
