Pattern Table?

I have a hole in a plate dimensioned in the X & Y from two common edges. I'd like to create a pattern of the hole in the X direction such that all the dimensions come from the common edge. In other words, ordinate dimensioning so i have X1.00, X2.25, X2.50, X2.9, etc...

For the Pro/E to UG converts, I want to create a Pattern Table.

Suggestions.

In NX4 you can use pattern face for this

You could actually use either pattern face or a rectangular array for this, but as your figures indicate that the hole pattern does not necessarily follow regular increments you may still have some issues. Since both pattern face or rectangular array both support ONLY regular increments in the pattern, you're better to use the new hole feature. By creating a sketch and adding points at whatever intervals you require you can create one feature with as many holes as you wish.

Yea, I knew I could do the point placement thing but that's lame. Pro/E allows you to whip out a pattern table in seconds flat and you keep the design intent. Plus, I get to show, not create, the dimensions in a drawing. I'll add this to the list of other things UG doesn't do well compared to other systems.

I'm really beginning to think the developers at UG have no idea of what "design intent" really means.

Just venting...
