I am working on a repavement project that is removing the existing asphalt pavement and laying down new concrete pavement. The curb and gutter will remain in place, which is where my problem lies. I have varying cross slopes down the length of the grade, due to the existing curb and gutter. Does anyone know what a maximum change in cross slope is, before rideability of the street is compromised?

Green Book Exhibit 3-30 may apply here. It depends on your design speed.

Don;t forget to check for minimum slope for drainage.
