PAX files in 7.5

Hi all,

I would like to create a template part which automatically open in NX Sheet metal but also allows me to select a 'Part to reference'. In the past I've used a manifestation part.

any help appreciated.

Only certain applications allow you to specify a 'Refernce Part' and Sheet Metal is not one of them. Applications such as Drafting and Manufacture allow this but not Modeling or any of it's sub-Applications and attempting to edit the .pax files to force this behavior doesn't work. I've tried to do this myself and never had any success.

It's not just me then

That's a shame, I wanted a manifestation file that attaches itself to the model (like a specification) but allow me to create a linked body of my geometry which I could modify before creating a flat pattern.
