HI I am new to antenna designing and have gotten several books for antenna design. I am curious if anyone knows of articles or papers on printed circuit board inverted F-antenna for the 2.4GHZ application(this is for 802.15.4 aka Zigbee).

The previous RF guy here left and I took over and he designed a PCB inverted F-antenna and it works adequate as in about 25 feet but this application is supposed to work for at least 100m!!! THe output power for 802.15.4 is max of 0dBm. and i am confined for board space. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Articles for inverted-F design can be found on-line. Search "Inverted-F", "IFA", and "PIFA". But, I have found little in terms of formulas for design of one on line.
