Hi, i have a doubt about the offset that nastran consider calculating the pcomp shell properties.
The manual told that if you left blank the relative field, it places the plane of reference of the shell at a distance even to half of the laminated thickness.
Further I know that, but it it is not reported in any nastran guide, If you make offset even to zero, the plane of reference it is located at the first ply of the staking sequence.
Anyone can tolds me an explication or confirmation of what I know about it?
Thank a lot.
