Hello,

i tried the attached script to export pdf. But there is one problem, i select a folder with for example 20 prt files (15 files with drawings) and press ok. Then the script starts to open the files and export the pdf, but not of all.

I have tried severeal folders but the script only choose 3-5 files and ignores the rest in the folder.

Does anyone have an idea for this problem?

Hello Sim77Son,

Try removing the "'" comment at the beginning of lines 39 and 119. This will display the name of each part file in the NX listing window as the directory is processed which will help diagnose if the file is being processed or ignored.

If the files are not listed in the NX listing window begin concentrating on similarities (file names - spaces, common characters, length etc.), Also remove the comment on line 71 and retry.

If the "ignored" files do appear in the NX listing window, begin diagnosing the file for common characteristics. (Does it open in NX, contain drawing sheets(s), with drawing views?).

Hope this helps,
Joe

I suggest taking a look at this. It is a zip file with various PDF export journals; try the "export_pdf_test_all_parts_in_folder.vb", it is essentially an updated version of the journal you are using now.
