Where can I get the getting started and what's new manuals for SW 2001 Plus. They don't exist on my CD or when I installed SW2001 Plus.

After the installtion of SW2001 Plus I get a Photo Works Warning: unable to initialize the scene archives correctly. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times but I still get the same prompt.

They are located in your SolidWorks folder under...

SOLIDWORKS\LANG\ENGLISH\MANUALS [reading]

But for some some reason I can't access them thru the help menu either. Had to browse to them manually and open them with adobe. Curious.........

I have had the same experience and found it is very dependent of the flavor of Windoze that you are running. Works fine with NT and 2000, but help can't find them in Win98. I did manage to do a file patch on a friend's Win98 system and it worked for about 2 weeks and then didn't.
If you are using it for business, and most users are, then you are running on NT or 2000, so I guess the Solidworks people don't care about anyone else.
