Hi all,

Our company is currently reviewing its software across all its european offices in an exercise to decide on a single platform

The two in the running seem to be Microstation and PDMS. Neither of which I have any experience!

Therefore any advice/opinions would be warmly recieved.

We deal in static sheet steel fabrications at the moment but are looking to move towards vessels and skids if that lends any slant to things.

Much obliged scott.

I currently work for a D.O.T. (Department of Transportation) and we use Microstation. Microstation has many benefits to it. There is a support community that is really great. All the D.O.T. or at least most of them have cell libraries and other design details already drawn. Some even have EXE files to do setups on your system. The software also can open and save DWG, DXF, PDF...etc. Besides Microstation has global support in many countries.
I hope this helps and if you need anything futher feel free to ask.
Regards,
Namdac
