I qualified my FE in August 2019 and plan on writing my PE in Transportation in April next year.

I have my Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from India and my Masters in transportation engg from the US...The way I understand is: the registration process through NCEES would require us to send our transcripts to NCEES for evaluation if one's bachelor's is from any university outside of the US. However I provided only my Master's information on my NCEES profile (with no red flags flashing) and it right away put me through to register for PE Exam. Which means I don't have to get any evaluation/approval by NCEES. Is this normal? Has anyone else had this experience? If I proceed, do you think I'll have any trouble down the lane?

Please provide your experiences and suggestions.

Sounds like there are no issues as far as sitting for the exam. Each state, however, has different requirements for education to actually become a licensed PE in that state. Whether or not you will have trouble getting a license once your exams are completed will depend on what the rules are for the particular state you are applying in.
