Hi Everyone,

Can anybody help me know the meaning of PEM related to bolts?

Because i have this type of material requirement which is, PEM FH-M5-14.

From what i have researched PEM is a brand name only.
Or does this PEM have special meaning or characteristics compared to other types of materials?

Thanks in advance for you reply.

Peace! =)

FH-M5-14 is a part number for a self- clinching stud made by Penn Engineering & Manufacturing Co.

Their catalog will tell you a little more about the material.

Hi Mr. Mike,

Thanks a lot!
I have open the PEM's website.

And type FH-M5-14 in the parts number box, but it says "no product found".

Anyways, is there any special meaning of FH, M5 & 14?

Thank you so much, great help!

=)

Hmmm.... I see your point. Not in the current catalog. Maybe a special?

Well, it sure _looks_ like a PEM part number, and not a material spec.

FH means Flush Head

M5 is the thread - a metric thread according to ISO 68 with major diameter of 5 mm

14 is the length in mm
