Performance Engineering Course/ Book

Hello ALl,

Could you experienced people tell me which are good books for Performance MOnitoring for a GT or Turbo Machinary. I have come accross books that have dedicated couple of pages for Performance Monitoring. I am looking for a book thats complete.

I have been hired to do Performance Monitoring on GT . We have no resources, no experienced mentor.

I hope to get to a stage where I could also contribute.

What is your definition of performance monitoring? Process monitoring? Compliancy controller monitoring? Emmissions? Machine monitoring?

Performance monitoring of machines

No process monitoring, no emmission monitoring

I do performance monitoring right now, more precisely production performance trending. The big turbine engine manufacturers have their own courses for engine performance. I've been with Pratt & Whitney, GE, Williams, Rolls-Royce.
