friends,
I am interested in making calculations of efficiency for gas turbine driven compressors.I would like a clear detailed reply as to how the manufacturers curves to be used against the actual performance. What is the formula to calculate the head and power consumption, and efficiency. Any links which deal with free literature on above? Thanks in advance

your first request is best answered by contacting the compressor mfg and obtain their response as to how to determine centrifugal compressor efficiency. you may also refer to any thermo textbook and obtain similar answers there.
comparing actual performance with predicted design performance is accomplished either during a ptc-10 test at mfg facility or at end user's site. usually, there is an agreement or standard by which the buyer and supplier of compressor adhere to when testing the final product. so be certain to investigate what the purchase agreement stated in regards to performance. a guide/std is api-617, but that will cost you $ to obtain.
computing the power and head is found in any thermo textbook or the asme ptc-10 code.
recommend you try searching for what you need via google search website.
