Never heard of this pipe. Who makes it? The n value should be the same as HDPE unles the 'steel' protrudes into the inside of the pipe.

CVG,
I got a visit from the Contech guys a few months ago and provided me with information on this pipe material . I thought they said that this was relatively new to the US. You may want to contact them to get contact information from places(DOTs) that are using this material.

I have manufacturer information already. I also have local approval letters from our state DOT and one county. The state has apparently installed thousands of feet of this pipe. I have not talked to their engineers yet. I am looking for any information from agencies or consultants on this forum with direct experience with this pipe. I have been told it has been used for years in Australia and perhaps other countries. But I haven't been given any specific info for that.
