Hi,
I'm planing to perform a pushover analysis using SAP2000 (maybe ETABS). I have read lots of papers about pushover analysis and its theory.
Now, i'm very confused about PM2M3 hinges. Is there any need to define moment-rotation curve data after P-M2-M3 interaction surface data had been defined.
Indeed, i performed a pushover analysis but a problem occured. When i plot capacity spectrum ana response spectrum on same axes, performce point passes (doesn't cut) to capacity spectrum.
I think it's probably because of story failure (although i tried several times pushover analysis stops on 8 steps) or moment-rotation curve data which i didn't define on P-M2-M3 hinges.
A picture defining my problem was attached. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
Sinceraly,
Erhan Mollaoğlu
