Perimeter Constraint In UG NX

I am creating a closed curve in a sketch and try to use perimeter constraint to constraint the total perimeter of this closed curve. But I cannot do anything. Can anyone hlep me out. The button is there after I click, it only show the dimension dialogue.

Irrespective of your version, I suspect that the issue is that Lines and Arcs are the ONLY valid curve types which can make up a loop of curves constrained by a Perimeter Dimension.
