Hi,
I have to simulate a forging process where the die has a sinusoidal profile given by z = sin(x)*sin and has around 30 wavelengths(picture attached). I plan to do it by modeling one wavelength as modeling the entire (or quarter) die would be very tedious. I have attached the picture of the unit cell that I will model. I am confused whether I need to apply symmetric boundary conditions or periodic boundary conditions. Which would be the right way of doing it?
