Dear Experts,
Greetings of the day.
This is about AISI SS 304L as per ASTM A276M or DIN 1.4301 in accordance to DIN EN 10088-1/2/3.
The standards missout on the permissible values for some of the impurities. During our tests and analysis of the raw material it was observed that Copper (Cu) was 0.6%, Molybdenum (Mo) was 0.6% and Vanadium (V) was 0.06%. Would someone throw light on what would be the permissible or max values for theses impurities.
Through our various compilations visiting technical information, patents and various websites, the values of Mo and Cu upto 2% and V upto 0.1% is acceptable, but our customer is not in favour. Need some documentation and/or reference from the standards to authenticate.
Please share your thoughts.
Regards.
