I come across a piston rod material of PH150 recently, but am not so familar with it. Would anybody give some clue on the mechanical property of this material? Thanks.

Comeback with a little more information as to the type piston rod and if possible where the information originated.

Hi, unclesyd,
This dia. 4" rod is for a cylinder, customer requested this material because it is scratch free. We wish to know more about it, so that our quotation would be ok.

Hopefully someone will recognize the PH150 as a material or specification.

Usually scratch free rods, piston or otherwise, are surface hardened and hard chrome plated.

If you could comeback with the end use, like for a hydraulic cylinder, compressor, or a guide rod, this might help jog someone memory.
