Hi all:

I'm trying to show phantom circle in drawing which indicates the outside cutting diameter of a cutting tool. I tried converting the cicle to "centerline" but it didn't work. Can someone show me how this can be achieved?

Thanks.

Should be able to right-click>properties on the circle and change it's appearance to anything you want.

You can create a sketch in the drawing environment, draw & dimension the circle, constrain it to projected geometry from the drawing & format the circle to any linetype & weight available. The dimensions and projected geometry will not show up after you exit the sketch.
