Hi there!

Can someone throw some light on this... If 90 Degree connection with RCA 30 OR 45 degrees, can detect and trip on ground fault as well in solidly grounded systems, then why a separate ground fault directional relay is used.

Probably to achieve a more sensitive pickup without
tripping on (forward) load.
