I have installed 2004 Office Professional and all my Add-ins works except Photoworks. When I click on add-ins for Photoworks- It freezes and and I have to Cntrl-Alt-Del to task manager to end the non-responding SolidWorks. Any Ideas?

Run a Repair on the installation.

1) Go to Control Panel
2) Add and remove Programs
3) Find SW2004
4) Click on "Change"
5) Follow the menus
6) Click on "Repair"
7) Click "Next" and let the command finish
8) Restart SW and Test it to see if it helped.

What's your operating system? I had this happen repeatedly with a fresh 2003 install on an NT machine. I never got it to work properly. However, it worked previously with earlier versions installed first, then upgraded to PhotoWorks 2 with the 2003 version that was sent out on CD. (Strange)

Good luck.

Thanks for the quick reply. I tried your suggestion but the problem persists. My operating system is XP Pro. I had 2003 Office and it worked then with PhotoWorks rel 2 But on upgrade to 2004 Proffesional, as I said it freezes up going to add-ins and clicking on Photoworks Rel 2.

Ive also have the Service Packs up to 2.1

How long do you wait before ending the task?

One thing you might check is make sure you have the latest drivers for your video card.

If a repair didn't work then your probably going to have to either try the alternative reinstall, or just do a reinstall.

Make sure any virus scanner is disabled before repairing or reinstalling
