Pick points from surface

Hi Guys,

I am working with a surface model. I would like to pick random points on the surface to achieve x,y, and z values. These values will help us checking the part on the CMM machine. I hope this make sense.

Information -> Point
Make sure your point snap option is set to "point on face".

And in NX 9.0 we've added an additional Analysis function, 'Measure Point', which will allow you to select a point on a face (or any point for that matter) and capture the X,Y,Z values of that point as Expressions, which will update when the shape of the surface is modified.
