hello ,
im new in this forum , so i hope i would not harm anybody by asking this fellow question.
i have fyp to work on. btw i was study in pigging design specialist. btw here is issue that really make me stuck to make further design.

Odometer wheel is the tool that calculate a distance/kmph by sensor. so the problem is , when inside the pipeline the liquid will stuck on the pipe wall, and it make the wheel cant make a rotation to give signal for sensor .

what i need to do regarding this issue. what kind of material that suitable for wheel to run/rotate smoothly inside liquid pipeline. ?
Or there is another way we can use other than using speed sensor rotation to calculate distance . ?

You have bigger problems than that. How's the pig going to move at all in a pipeline full of sticky liquid and maybe a lot of wax and sand?

Independent events are seldomly independent.

pigging movement i didt worry so much , because it will handle by pressure/force.
but the real problem is . how the wheel going to rotate without any sticky / stuck from wax

That's not the real problem when your pig is stuck in a dirty wax plug. Maybe try an inertia based navigation system, if you really have to put it into such a mucky pipeline.
