Pig Receiver

For modification on a Pig Receiver in a gas pipeline 10Mpa and for safty case, I need to design a by pass line to vent the traped gas before and after pig in pig receiver. Does anyone know any general info?

The barrel should be 4 to 6" greater diameter than the pig, hence you only need 1 vent line.
