Pineoil - thermophysical properties. 1

Hello

Im gonna make some heattransfer-calculations of a cistern, used for storage of pineoil. For that I need the kinematic viscocity, heatcapacity and density of the oil at different temperatures. Any one who knows where I can find that data?

Pine oil? No idea. You might get lucky on Google. But I doubt it.

You could ask your current or potential pine oil supplier for some of this data and hope they have it and are generous.

Try olive oil or some low viscocity motor oil or synthetic oil. Their properties can not be that much different.

Contact the suppliers of the product in question. Processors of pine oil must have a need for the similar properties.

I would put it much closer to d-limonene or other plant based solvents than olive oil or the like. I don't believe olive oil or motor oils would have similar enough properties to accurately approximate the behavior.
