Pinion shaft description

Hello , I am working on a flender dmgh 25,4 spare part list .
My back ground is french so , i am finding some difficult in reading the description of parts
I am trying to calculate the angle of helix but i need the modules ; ok let we take this description

PINION SHAT DP 880 / 3,55 1,6587
----------------------------------
GEAR WHEEL RP 580 / 2,39 1,6587
-----------------------------------
Can anyone explain to me , what does it mean all this numbers , i think 3,55 and 2,39 are tangentiel modules of those two gears,
i need further explanation , thank you in advance
