I am uing Ceasar version 4.40. I have creaed a model of existing cold reheat piping that is supported by constant supports. The fabrication drawings (1967) indicate that the pipe schedule is different for bend sections (5d radius) and straight sections (sch 100 bends sch 80 straight). I incorporated all these changes in thickness throughout the model.

When I perform the static analysis I get unrealistic displacement results.

If I make all the pipe schedules the same I get reasonable displacement results.

Any ideas?

No ideas at the moment. However, e-mail (ray@coade.com) both input files (and associated load cases) to me at COADE and I'll take a look.
