Hey All,
I am looking for the stud bolt size (diameter x length) for 28 and 32 inch carbon steel flanges. I know these are not common sizes, but from my understanding, they are still available. Any information would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Becky

Becks...

You must be more specific about the construction and pressure rating of the flanges.

Are they B16.47 - type A or AWWA,,?

Are they 75 or 125 or 150 Class ???

Sorry, I'm new to this. They are ASME B16.5 150 lb pressure class. Thank you.

Oh no they're not !!

B16.5 goes up to 24". After that, if you are staying with ASME, it's B16.47A or B. The bolting is not the same for these two.

Take a look at Texas Flange's web site. It should provide the information that you need.

Note that it is very important to verify the type of flange that you have, as the previous posters have pointed out.

Thanks. The trouble is, we are using one standard flange to mate to a custom made flange - they've asked me to determine if they can use standard bolt sizes or if we need to specify a different size.
I will be sure to verify the type of flange though!
