Can someone direct me to a pre-engineered chart of sizes and spacings for pipe legs for vertical, carbon steel pressure vessels (no seismic or wind load consideration)?
For years, we've been using a sizing recommendation chart produced by the CPI. It covers vessels from 24" to 144" diameter and up to 120" shell height.
This CPI design specifies angles and wide flange beam legs and we are experiencing difficulty when painting the metal on the inside of these legs where they attach to the vessel wall. We feel that pipe legs with a cap on top will elimate this problem.
