Hello everyone.

We have been performed inspection in piping supports by lifting then to inspect and see the integrity of pipe and support. However, we always lift the pipe at maximum 100mm, we never checked if this lift could cause any issue in the pipe system. I would like to know how I can check the maximum lift I can do in a pipe, without risking the pipe to collapse for example

Check the stress on a "pipe beam" with a 100mm deflection over the span of distance you intend to lift.
