Pipe Supports Before and After Sleeve Couplings 1

We have a 92" water filled pipe supported at approximately 12 ft OC. However, at every other support there is a Sleeve (Depend-O-Lock) coupling at approximatelly 10 ft away from one support and 2 ft away from the other. Personnally, I don't feel comfortable having a 92" pipe overhaning over the suport by 11 ft but the EOR and the MNFR do not seem to have a problem with it.

Any comments would be apprciated.

I'm not either.
However,if there approximately 11-ft of solid [no mechanical joints] pipe on the other side of the pipe, it will balance OK.

Thanks

I agree the pipe will balance itself over the support but the loading on the suport (DW only approx 54 kips) and the local stresses at the supports are way up there.

Thanks
