Pipe Supports: what standard to use that includes FEA?

Hi,

Just wondering if there is a standard out there that specifically relates FEA and pipe support design.

MSS SP58 appears to be the only recognised pipe support design standard but has no mention of FEA. I believe this standard is based on manually calculations and therefore the allowable stresses maybe too high when FEA is used instead of manual calculations.

Any feedback is welcome and hopefully ones that prove me wrong.
