Friends,

Does anyone know what the black accessory sticking out of the piping is?

Agnes, did you do a “Google Lens” search with a high resolution, close-up picture? I tried using the website image, but had no luck. I could not read the writing because it got blurry when I expanded the picture.

Btw, idk what it is. Best guess is it’s part of electrical heat trace system.
