Piping code for Producer Gas to Burner

Between ASME B31.3 and ASME B 31.1, which piping code would best be suited for transport of wood gas from a gasifier to the burner? Is 31.1 better suited because the delivery to a burner or 31.3 because it is the product of a process?

Pick one that you know best. At the pressure you are operating at there won't be any differences to worry about. Make sure you document and mark your spec changes if you go with one that is different from the rest of your piping.
