OK Guys & Gals,
I am the Newbie in this Forum so please forgive me for asking basic questions. No i am not a student and I am not about to design some earth shattering system using any tips I pick up. Just learnig a branch of engineering that i find interesting. I need a mentor here, even in my twilight years.
I have available Pipeak piping design software. The tutorail (advanced) describes the software can be used however leaves you up in the air when it comes to applying a frequency range, damping ratio etc. Where do you get the data that can be applied to a pipe system? What are the rules? Even the piping codes are general in their requirements. Basically stating that a pipe system should be analysed! thats not much help.
Where can I get the information and understanding?
